GAP8 RISC-V Microprocessor
GAP8 is the first generation processor featuring:
- Fabric Controller (FC): Single RISC-V core for control and I/O management
- Compute Cluster: 8 RISC-V cores for parallel computation
- Memory: 512KB L2 memory, 64KB L1 cluster memory
- Hardware CNN Accelerator (HWCE): Specialized unit for convolution operations
- UDMA Controllers: For peripheral I/O operations
- Event Unit: For efficient core synchronization
